About The Position

The Linguistic Services Department provides translation, revision and language advisory services to all of Desjardins Group. Our dedicated team supports internal partners in producing clear, accurate and engaging texts for the diverse audiences Desjardins serves. The project management team consists of seven professionals from diverse backgrounds who work together to help Linguistic Services achieve its mission. Acting as a liaison between our internal partners, language professionals and external suppliers, they receive and analyze requests, assign tasks, deliver documents and provide valuable support to teams across the organization. Collaboration, teamwork, troubleshooting and communication are key to our success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience
  • Knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec
  • Intermediate advanced proficiency of English due to the nature of the duties or work tools or because the position involves interactions with English-speaking partners, members and/or clients
  • Advanced proficiency using request management and translation tools (FlowFit, memoQ or similar programs)
  • Action oriented, Business insight, Customer Focus, Differences, Interpersonal Savvy, Nimble learning

Responsibilities

  • Shape clear scope, timelines, and delivery plans, and keep everything moving forward
  • Juggle multiple projects in parallel in a fast-paced environment, staying on top of priorities and deadlines
  • Act as the go-to partner for internal stakeholders, keeping communication clear, proactive, and solution-oriented
  • Match projects with the right linguists and vendors, setting them up for success from the start
  • Stay close to execution and unblock issues quickly, whether it’s timelines, resources, or unexpected challenges
  • Drive the end-to-end delivery of translation and localization projects
  • Use and optimize TMS/CAT tools to streamline workflows and keep linguistic assets clean and reusable
  • Document best practices
