The Project Manager IV performs advanced and senior-level project management, project planning, coordination, and documentation activities in support of the Case Management Transformation Program. This position serves as the primary representative and advocate for Child Protective Investigations, ensuring the program's needs, priorities, and operational requirements are effectively incorporated throughout all phases of the transformation initiative. Assigned work includes leading and coordinating teams of Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Business Analysts, and program stakeholders representing Child Protective Investigations. Responsibilities include managing project initiation, planning, execution, monitoring and controlling, and project closeout activities for assigned projects and related workstreams within the Case Management Transformation Program. The Project Manager oversees project deliverables, facilitates collaboration among cross-functional teams, and ensures appropriate program representation and subject matter expertise are included in decision-making processes. This position identifies project risks, issues, dependencies, and constraints and develops mitigation strategies to support project success. The Project Manager is responsible for maintaining and communicating the program's voice throughout the project lifecycle by coordinating with Business Analysts, Product Owners, executive leadership, and stakeholders across the agency. The position ensures business requirements, operational impacts, and program priorities are clearly understood and addressed in project planning and implementation activities. The ideal candidate possesses strong project management expertise, technical aptitude, child welfare knowledge, leadership skills, and experience supervising staff and multidisciplinary teams. Works under minimal supervision with extensive latitude for the use of initiative, strategic decision-making, and independent judgment.
