About The Position

MAP International is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our IT team and lead the delivery of projects driving our technology transformation. This role owns planning, coordination, and execution across concurrent initiatives — including cloud migration to AWS, Salesforce CRM implementation, and related systems and process work — keeping scope, schedule, budget, and risk visible to stakeholders at every level. The ideal candidate brings a track record of shipping technology projects on time in a resource-conscious environment, communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical partners, and is enthusiastic about using AI tools to work faster and better. Requirements

Proven experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
5+ years of experience managing projects end to end, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, and stakeholder communication.
Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects with competing priorities and shared resources.
Experience leading technology or systems implementation projects, such as platform migrations, CRM or ERP rollouts, or integration work.
Experience coordinating cross-functional teams and external vendors without direct supervisory authority.
Evidence of using AI tools in day-to-day work, and enthusiasm for applying AI to improve project delivery and team productivity.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience presenting status and risk to executive audiences.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
5+ years of professional project management experience, including at least 2 years managing technology or systems implementation projects.
Project planning, scheduling, and dependency mapping across concurrent workstreams.
Scope definition, change control, budget tracking, and risk and issue management.
Waterfall and Agile delivery methods, including sprint planning and backlog management.
Status reporting and executive-level project communication.
Jira and Confluence, or comparable work tracking and documentation platforms.
Microsoft 365, including Teams, Excel, SharePoint, and Project.
Dashboard and report building for project and portfolio visibility.
Evidence of using AI assistants to draft documents, summarize meetings and requirements, analyze project data, or automate recurring tasks.
Evidence of documenting a manual process and improving it, with measurable time or error reduction.
Willingness to test new tools and share what works with colleagues.
Facilitating meetings and driving decisions among stakeholders with competing priorities.
Translating technical detail for non-technical audiences and business needs for technical teams.
Evidence of holding cross-functional teams accountable to deadlines without direct authority.
Experience in positions requiring independent judgement, with evidence of success in those roles.
Employee must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Nice To Haves

PMP certification.
Agile project management experience, including sprint planning, backlog management, and iterative delivery.
Hands-on experience administering or working in Jira, including boards, workflows, and reporting dashboards.
Agile or Scrum credentials such as CSM, PSM, PMI-ACP, or SAFe.
Experience with AWS cloud migration projects or Salesforce CRM implementations.
Experience building AI-assisted workflows or automations that reduced manual effort on a team.
Experience with Confluence, Smartsheet, Asana, Microsoft Project, or comparable portfolio tools.
Experience managing projects with limited budgets and lean staffing.
Background in healthcare, pharmaceutical distribution, or international development sectors.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, milestones, and deliverables for concurrent technology and operational initiatives.
Define project scope and success criteria with sponsors, and manage change control when scope shifts.
Coordinate cross-functional project teams, internal staff, and external vendors to keep work moving against committed dates.
Track task ownership, dependencies, and blockers, and drive issues to resolution.
Maintain project documentation including charters, status reports, decision logs, and post-implementation reviews.
Provide regular status reporting to leadership, translating technical detail into clear business impact.
Facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and steering committee updates, and publish decisions and action items.
Partner with department leaders to gather requirements, confirm priorities, and manage expectations on timelines and trade-offs.
Support change management and end-user readiness activities, including training coordination and communication plans.
Identify, document, and actively manage project risks, assumptions, and constraints, escalating with recommended options.
Track project budgets, forecasts, and actuals in partnership with IT and Finance.
Manage vendor and implementation-partner deliverables, statements of work, and timelines.
Monitor resource capacity across projects and flag conflicts before they affect delivery.
Establish and improve repeatable project management practices, templates, and reporting standards for the organization.
Apply AI tools to routine project work such as drafting status updates, summarizing meetings and documentation, analyzing project data, and automating recurring tasks.
Share effective AI practices with colleagues and help identify where AI can reduce manual effort in project and operational workflows.
Contribute to continuous improvement of intake, prioritization, and portfolio visibility processes.
