About The Position

Cyberlocke is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Technical Project Manager to lead project management and coordination for a complex healthcare infrastructure resilience and modernization initiative supporting future EHR upgrades. This role will be responsible for establishing the project structure, governance, planning, and controls needed to coordinate multiple infrastructure workstreams from pre-implementation planning through implementation, pilot testing, clinical validation, and operational transition. The Project Manager will work closely with healthcare leadership, internal technical teams, and third-party vendors to keep the program aligned, documented, and moving forward. The ideal candidate brings strong enterprise infrastructure knowledge, disciplined project governance, and experience coordinating complex infrastructure modernization initiatives. This is a project management and coordination role. The Project Manager will not be responsible for hands-on architecture, engineering, configuration, installation, remediation, or production support.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects from planning through implementation and operational transition.
  • Demonstrated experience building and maintaining project plans, schedules, milestones, dependencies, RAID logs, decision logs, and project governance processes.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional technical teams, business stakeholders, executive leadership, contractors, and technology vendors.
  • Working knowledge of enterprise infrastructure concepts, including data centers, networking, virtualization, high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
  • Ability to understand technical dependencies and facilitate discussions across engineering and operational teams without being responsible for hands-on technical execution.
  • Strong risk, issue, dependency, change, and action-item management skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, facilitation, and executive communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, maintain disciplined project documentation, drive accountability, and keep multiple workstreams moving in a complex environment.
  • Ability to work in Abilene, TX, or from the McKinney, TX area with travel to Abilene approximately twice monthly and additional approved travel for key project activities as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience.

  • Experience supporting healthcare, hospital, or other highly regulated environments.
  • Experience managing business continuity, disaster recovery, data center resiliency, virtualization, or end-user computing initiatives.
  • Experience using Wrike, SharePoint, or Microsoft 365 for project planning, documentation, and reporting.
  • CAPM, PMP or comparable project management certification.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain the project charter, governance structure, collaboration model, and project controls using Wrike, SharePoint, and Microsoft 365.
  • Build and maintain the integrated project plan, schedule, milestones, dependencies, resource requirements, and readiness activities across all workstreams.
  • Coordinate assessment and documentation of current-state workflows, infrastructure dependencies, and implementation requirements.
  • Maintain RAID logs, decision logs, action-item tracking, change tracking, procurement tracking, and other required project documentation.
  • Coordinate procurement planning and track hardware, product, vendor, and resource dependencies that could impact project timelines.
  • Coordinate activities across Network, Operations, Project Management, Technical Support, EMR/Clinical Informatics, and other internal teams.
  • Manage coordination with third-party technology vendors, including deliverables, dependencies, schedules, risks, and escalations.
  • Facilitate weekly stakeholder meetings, publish weekly project status reports, and prepare monthly executive summaries.
  • Track progress across all project workstreams, identify risks and issues early, develop mitigation plans, and escalate blockers and decisions as needed.
  • Coordinate implementation planning, readiness reviews, cutover planning, and transition activities while ensuring technical owners remain accountable for technical decisions and execution.
  • Develop and maintain pilot testing and clinical validation schedules, including tracking results, dependencies, remediation items, and required decisions.
  • Coordinate the development and completion of operational runbooks, knowledge-transfer materials, and training documentation with the appropriate technical owners.
  • Facilitate project closeout, lessons learned, and transition of completed work into operational support.
