Learn more at https://www.jnj.com/medtech We are searching for the best talent for Project Manager Intern to be in Santa Clara, CA. The Intern term is from June to August, 2026. Full time requirement (40 hours per week). Purpose: The PM (Project Manager) Intern will coordinate cross functional project activities under the guidance of their manager and a mentor. The project will involve supporting a project through the design confirmation activities and documentation of the final candidate design (ie, Design Freeze). The project will conclude with a presentation to PMO management at a minimum. It may include documentation of completed design phases within the Design History File.

Requirements

  • Completion of Undergraduate Freshman year at an accredited University is required.
  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, Chemical, Materials, Electrical, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
  • Have a cumulative GPA of 2.8 or higher, which is reflective of all college coursework.
  • Basic knowledge of core engineering principles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Must have good verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Operate as a team or independently with management guidance
  • Permanently authorized to work in the U.S., must not require sponsorship of an employment visa (e.g., H-1B or green card) at the time of application or in the future.
  • Students currently on CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT usually requires future sponsorship for long term employment and do not meet the requirements for this program unless eligible for an alternative long-term status that does not require company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Participates as a member of project or sub-project team(s) in coordinating project activities.
  • Works with project team members including R&D, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, Operations and Marketing to ensure projects and activities are executed according to standard processes.
  • Tracks project progress against plan, including updates to project schedule.
  • Contributes to updates to stakeholders via email, PowerPoint, and other tools.
  • Learns project management basics including: scheduling building, tracking, coordination, effective communication.
  • Other duties as assigned
