About The Position

The Project Manager, Integration is responsible for communicating project information to AIT stakeholders while monitoring and controlling project scope, schedule, and budget for the duration of the manufacturing operations and any subsequent installation activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or similar field.
  • Five years prior work experience in a tooling/manufacturing environment in the aerospace industry.
  • Must be able to obtain, maintain and/or currently possess a security clearance.
  • Can multitask and manage multiple large to small projects in a cross functional environment.
  • Comfortable working in foreign business environments; must have strong interpersonal skills.
  • Creates and maintains complex files and written documents.
  • Work in a high energy, high volume, rapidly changing environment.
  • Communicates regularly with customers to get feedback and performance information.
  • Provides excellent service to internal and external customers.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and set priorities.
  • Clear and effective communication skills in both written and spoken forms.
  • Knowledge of computer applications including email, databases, word-processing program and spreadsheets (such as Microsoft Office).
  • Maintains confidentiality while processing and handling confidential information with discretion.
  • Defines tasks and milestones to achieve objectives, while ensuring the optimal use of resources to achieve those objectives.
  • Works effectively with different levels of management, team members and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee key projects, processes, data, and analysis.
  • Communication with Project Management to discuss manufacturing concerns.
  • Exhibits knowledge in the areas of affordability, continuous improvement, process improvement, and root cause corrective action.
  • Actively participates as a member of a cross functional integrated process team.
  • Evaluate released design packages to develop manufacturing plan, work instructions, and manufacturing bills of materials.
  • Participate on shop floor to validate work instructions, bills of material, and process specifications.
  • Works with both internal and external contacts, and often representing the organization in developing solutions to complex technical issues.
  • Host meetings to plan execution of build plan on a job-to-job basis.
  • Utilize CAD software in support of understanding and analyzing scope of work in support of project stakeholders.
  • Report and escalates issues or concerns to project management bi-weekly or as needed.
  • Respond to inquiries from project stakeholders across a global organization.
  • Develop, monitor, and report project budgets and schedules.
  • Coordinate purchasing of components with internal manufacturing, external suppliers and vendors including buy analysis.
