Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business technology, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, Webhooks, and authentication protocols (OAuth2, API Keys)
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders clearly and professionally
  • Experience in troubleshooting data synchronization issues and mapping complex logic between disparate systems
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority integration projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines
  • Experience working closely with software developers, QA engineers, and customer success teams

Nice To Haves

  • Proficiency in writing SQL queries to analyze and validate large datasets
  • Familiarity with iPaaS tools (e.g., Zapier, Workato, Tray.io, or Boomi)
  • Experience or knowledge with Human Capital Management (HCM), payroll systems, or benefits administration technology
  • Experience managing legacy integration methods like SFTP and fixed-width/CSV file transfers
  • Experience connecting platforms with Salesforce via API or native connectors

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery sessions with third-party vendors to understand their systems and design custom integration workflows that meet our business needs.
  • Configure and develop integrations using APIs, webhooks, and middleware tools, ensuring seamless connectivity between AllianceHCM and external platforms.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of integration projects, from initial scoping and requirements gathering all the way through testing, deployment, and ongoing post-launch support.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison between client IT teams and our internal engineering and product departments, collaborating to resolve complex technical challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.
