In this role, you will be responsible for multidisciplinary and industrial HVAC project management across a variety of mandates, bringing your technical expertise, leadership, and ability to coordinate teams in a highly collaborative, high‑impact environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent training.
- 12+ years of relevant experience in industrial or mining mechanics.
- Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- ASP Construction card required.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Excellent communication skills in French and English.
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of building mechanics (DEC considered an asset).
- Experience in consulting engineering considered an asset.
- Natural leadership, rigor, initiative, and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to clarify technical requirements, present concepts, and communicate study results.
- Manage multidisciplinary and/or industrial HVAC projects throughout their full life cycle.
- Prepare quantity takeoffs and contribute to budget estimates to support rigorous project planning.
- Review and oversee the production of technical documents: tender packages, specifications, reports, and design deliverables.
- Supervise the work of technicians, designers, and professionals assigned to projects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
- Actively participate in the design of plans, specifications, and details for mechanical, industrial, mining, or institutional projects.
- Support the project manager, as needed, with coordination, schedule tracking, and budget management.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of work methods and to technical innovation within the team.
