About The Position

This role is based in Dearborn, MI at our clients campus and will require up to 25% regional travel. Manage all areas of project management for industrial construction projects ranging from light space refreshes to capital infrastructure improvements. This includes planning, design coordination, construction, occupancy, and closeout. Work directly with clients to prepare all elements of the project. This includes the scope of work, project delivery resource requirements, cost estimates & budget, work plan schedule & milestones, quality control, and risk identification. Define the project delivery resources from pre-qualified lists or through the project qualification process. Conduct a standard request for proposals, complete bid evaluations, and recommend resources to clients. Implement project documentation governance that is aligned with company and client requirements. Coordinate efforts of construction vendors, owner-contracted entities, A/E firms, and internal customer stakeholders to successfully execute project, including collaboration with leadership and trades at individual jobsites. Ensure project data integrity and documentation is accurate, timely, and coordinated; provide regular financial reporting (cash flow forecasting) to the customer. Direct the project delivery team by providing guidance and direction to achieve goals. Create action plans to meet objectives, budget, and schedule. Track the progress of each project and report status and variances. Demonstrate ability to identify project threats and develop risk mitigation and contingency plans. Implement action plans to reduce or eliminate project risks. Apply in-depth knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish complex assignments and provide innovative solutions. Coach others and share in-depth knowledge of own job discipline and broad knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Work to build consensus and convince others to reach an agreement. Impact a range of customer, operational, project, or service activities within own team and other related teams. Work within broad guidelines and policies. Translate difficult or sensitive information to the customer to support decision making regarding project execution.

Requirements

  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 5-8 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • IT construction experience in the areas of network setup/design, voice/data cabling, telephony, wireless, audio visual, security access and monitoring, and sound masking.
  • General knowledge of leases, contracts and construction practices and the ability to read architectural drawings.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and MS Project.

Nice To Haves

  • LEED AP, PMP, and/or CCM designation(s) preferred.
