The selected candidate will lead execution of implementations and external initiatives that enable Evolent’s strategy and growth as well as supporting team members. (We are not offering any type of Sponsorships at this time.) As part of the Implementation team, the Project Manager will collaborate with Program Managers, Project Managers, Business and Testing Analysts on strategic initiatives and partner implementations. This role entails frequent interaction with internal and external stakeholders, as well as cross-functional collaboration with Product, Technology, Clinical, Operations, and Growth teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years of health care management and/or consulting experience
  • 1-2 years of project management experience
  • Strong client management or customer service skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple complex projects simultaneously
  • Expert knowledge of MS Office products
  • High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous health care knowledge, preferably in one of more of the following areas: provider systems, health plan operations, implementations, payer contracting, alternative payment models, delegated risk, or ACOs /CINs
  • Working knowledge of AdaptiveWork (or other project management application), Confluence, JIRA
  • PMP project management certification

Responsibilities

  • With minimal supervision, guide day-to-day activities for at least one strategic initiative or partner project
  • Develop, monitor, and manage project work plan, deliverables, and activities
  • Independently facilitate project meetings and effectively communicate project status
  • Identify and manage dependencies and project impacts across business areas
  • Proactively identify, monitor, document, and communicate project risks and issues
  • Hold project team accountable to critical path timelines to ensure deadlines are met
  • Work closely with program manager and partner collaboratively with project stakeholders across functional areas
  • Craft communications by considering both the audience and situation
