On the client side, the position will work directly with and report daily to the client lead, the PCS Engineering Manager for Capital and Sustaining Projects, regarding assigned projects. The position will additionally interact with key stakeholders, managers and staff in course of their daily duties in development and execution of the assigned site projects. The PM will be responsible to work with Operations, Equipment Engineers, Maintenance, Procurement, Contracts, Management or other stakeholders to properly define and develop project Scopes, guide the project through the various FEL phases and approvals of the Capital program, support schedule / planning efforts, identify and mitigate project Risks, identify and acquire required resources to develop or execute the scope. The role will provide coordination between the project and all stakeholders, track project activities and mitigate Risks to drive compliance with the target schedule and ultimately a successful completion. With Davenport being an operating facility, limiting down-time is critical. As a result, proper project development, detailed planning, risk mitigation, coordination and tracking are key elements of a successful outcome. The PM will support necessary Fluor internal Planning, Tracking and Reporting requirements for the work being performed.
