This role focuses on managing operational aspects of ongoing projects from initiation through completion and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management. In addition, this role focuses on performing the following Administration Project Management duties: Serves as a liaison between the general project management office and the team members engaging in planning, reviews the status of projects and budgets, manages schedules, prepares status reports, and assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction. A professional individual contributor role that may direct the work of other lower level professionals or manage processes and programs. The majority of time is spent overseeing the design, implementation or delivery of processes, programs and policies using specialized knowledge and skills typically acquired through advanced education. A senior level role that requires advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Typically responsible for: managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision, coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals, resolving difficult and sometimes complex problems. This position is responsible for planning, tracking, managing, and finalizing complex project(s) according to strict deadlines and within budget. Primary responsibilities include initial assessment of scope, effort and resources, writing project charters, facilitating project initiation meetings, detailed project planning, managing execution of project tasks, monitoring progress and timelines, and project status and other communication. Serves as point person for ongoing support, troubleshooting issues, questions, or concerns. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and is responsible for delivering defined project outputs to time, budget and project quality criteria. Ensures information flows smoothly between the project teams, relevant steering committees or advisory boards, and leadership. Prepares written, verbal, and visual communications regarding timelines, progress reports, and identifies risks/issues.
