About The Position

TRISTAR is seeking a Project Manager III in Crane, Indiana, to support IT Operations. The role is responsible for the overall planning, direction, and success of major programs, systems development efforts, and research or technology initiatives significant to agency activities and needs. Programs are typically large, multi-year efforts divided into multiple sub-programs or tasks.

The Project Manager provides overall program definition, organization, and direction for short- and long-range plans. This includes formulating, guiding, and directing the technical approach; defining and negotiating resource needs with activity and agency personnel; and establishing and controlling technical milestones, schedules, budgets, and costs. The position is responsible for cost, schedule, and technical performance and is not a personnel-management role.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in any technical or managerial discipline, or 15 or more years in program/project management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to use Microsoft Project software to create and manage timelines.
• Ability to utilize SCRUM directives.
• Ability to conduct cyber training.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must have a Secret clearance or the ability to obtain one.
• Travel up to 10% of the time.
