About The Position

PNC is hiring a Project Manager III in its HR Program Management Office, based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Cleveland, Ohio; Columbus, Ohio; or Akron, Ohio. The HR PMO supports strategic HR initiatives through governance, prioritization, planning, and execution. This role primarily manages HR project work related to international expansion and mergers and acquisitions, with the possibility of supporting other HR initiatives such as workforce planning, employee experience enhancements, and HR system implementations as demand and capacity change. It is accountable for meeting objectives and deadlines and applies PNC's Change@PNC project management, controls, and risk-mitigation process. Responsibilities include project discovery and alignment, work-plan development, resource and task coordination, execution oversight, status reporting, scope and risk management, governance communications, and cross-functional collaboration. The broader Project Manager III description states that projects may be among the most complex and typically may exceed $2.5 million, and includes developing project strategy, processes, resource allocation, budgets, and guidelines. Candidates typically have a bachelor's degree and at least three years of relevant or direct industry experience. A comparable combination of education, job-specific certifications, and experience, including military service, may be considered in lieu of a degree. No certifications or licenses are required. The role is incentive eligible, with compensation based on company, business, and/or individual performance. PNC will not sponsor employment visas or participate in STEM OPT for this position.
