About The Position

The client is seeking an experienced Project Manager II to lead multiple complex IT initiatives, including enterprise systems integration projects. The ideal candidate will manage projects throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), coordinate with business stakeholders, internal IT teams, and third-party vendors, while ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

7+ years of experience managing large, complex IT projects.
Strong experience with the full IT SDLC and project management methodologies.
Experience leading Enterprise Systems Integration projects.
Experience working with SAP implementations or integrations.
Proven ability to manage third-party vendors through implementation, delivery, acceptance, and project closure.
Experience creating and maintaining project documentation including: Project Plans & Timelines, Risk & Issue Logs, Communication Plans, Stakeholder Registers.
Strong experience in risk identification, mitigation, and issue resolution.
Experience gathering business requirements and coordinating with technical and functional teams.
Ability to facilitate meetings with business users, executives, vendors, and technical teams.
Experience preparing executive-level project status reports and presentations.
Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to resolve conflicting business requirements and drive consensus.
Hands-on experience managing multiple concurrent projects.
Candidates must reside in the Austin, TX area.
Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Experience working with the State of Texas or Texas government agencies.
PMP and/or CBAP certification.
Experience using AI-enabled project management tools to improve planning, scheduling, reporting, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and overall project delivery while maintaining governance and quality controls.
