About The Position

Join Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute and become part of one of the world’s most respected healthcare organizations. We are expanding with a new, one-million-square-foot, 15-floor, state-of-the-art facility on Cleveland Clinic Main Campus designed to elevate care for complex neurological conditions — including spine injuries, epileptic seizures, movement disorders, multiple sclerosis and stroke. This advanced building brings every stage of care under one roof, featuring dedicated spaces for outpatient services, surgery, stepdown, ICU and epilepsy monitoring, as well as additional operating rooms and expanded ambulatory, infusion, imaging, EMG, sleep and rehabilitation services. As Project Manager II, you will manage all aspects of small projects or phases of larger projects, coordinating project team activities under the direction of a Project Manager III or IV. In this role, you will accomplish project objectives through effective planning, organization, execution, and evaluation of project activities. A caregiver in this role works from 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday - Friday, but may need to be flexible on occasion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field and three years of experience coordinating or managing various projects OR High School Diploma/GED and seven years of experience OR Associate’s Degree and five years of experience OR Master’s Degree and two years of experience
  • Effective relationship building skills

Responsibilities

  • Manage all aspects of small projects or phases of larger projects.
  • Coordinate the activities of a project team under the direction of a Project Manager III or IV.
  • Achieve operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews.
  • Prepare and complete action plans.
  • Implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards.
  • Resolve problems.
  • Completes audits and identify trends.
  • Determine system improvements and implement changes.
  • Meet financial objectives by participating in developing forecasting requirements.
  • Participate in preparing an annual budget and scheduling expenditures.
  • Analyze variances and initiate corrective actions.
  • Set and continually manage project expectations with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests.
  • Explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks.
  • Create and maintain burn down charts and other project management tools.
  • Submit, track, and manage project tickets (X, Y, Z tickets).
  • Set up, schedule, and facilitate meetings with cross-functional teams.
  • Develop meeting agendas and organize related workflows.
  • Gather, document, and clarify requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Summarize stakeholder needs in an organized way to present to leadership and project teams.
  • Meet with diverse stakeholders (including physicians and research staff) to collect input and feedback on large systems (e.g., Epic-based systems within NI).
  • Analyze and rank stakeholder priorities (e.g., comparing input from multiple doctors/stakeholders).
  • Collaborate closely with the hiring manager to finalize project prioritization.
  • Ensure the project team stays focused on priority initiatives.
  • Present updates and findings in stakeholder meetings.
  • Navigate interoffice/corporate politics effectively.
  • Support the execution of prioritized tasks to drive project outcomes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
