About The Position

Our client, a world leader in life sciences and biotechnology, is looking for a “Project Manager II – CDx Pharma Services” based in Tucson, AZ. This is a long-term contract position with the possibility of extension. The role involves leading small to complex projects within CDx Pharma Services, driving initiatives from concept through completion. The Project Manager II will manage project plans, timelines, resources, budgets, risks, and cross-functional stakeholder communication.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree; Life Sciences preferred.
2–5 years of project management experience in diagnostics, medical devices, pharmaceutical, or biotech environments.
Experience leading product development or process improvement projects.
Strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment.
Proficiency in MS Office, MS Project, and Google Workspace.

Nice To Haves

Master’s degree
PMP certification
Agile/Scrum experience

Responsibilities

Manage product development, process improvement, and business projects from initiation through completion.
Develop project plans, schedules, resource plans, estimates, dashboards, and status reports.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure projects meet timelines, requirements, and service commitments.
Monitor sample workflow and reporting activities to support operational execution and data integrity.
Manage CAPEX budgets, resource trackers, and capacity planning.
Identify risks, bottlenecks, and critical-path issues and proactively drive solutions.
Maintain project documentation and lead lessons-learned/continuous improvement initiatives.
Communicate project status and influence diverse stakeholders across the organization.
