The CTSI HSSU Project Manager I will assume major responsibility for the successful and timely completion of tasks related to the implementation and analysis phases of research projects. This includes planning, development, implementation, and evaluation. The role involves coordinating hiring and providing direction to support staff, planning and coordinating training sessions, and overseeing recruitment, data collection, and follow-up activities. The Project Manager will translate planning and design decisions into concrete activities, set priorities, manage progress reports, and oversee quality control. They will also participate in data analysis and scientific paper writing, direct the development of data collection forms and procedural manuals, and oversee the development of computerized methods for monitoring and reporting. Ensuring compliance with study protocols, contracts, state and federal regulations, university requirements, and funding agency technical requirements (including auditing) is crucial. This role also involves representing the project to community agencies, attending relevant meetings, and managing the study budget, including financial progress reports. Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein.
