About The Position

CTG is seeking to fill a Project Manager I opening for our client. This role involves managing multiple small technical and non-technical projects under the direction of a Senior Project Manager. The Project Manager I will be responsible for developing and maintaining project plans, schedules, budgets, milestones, and deliverables. They will also manage RAIDD/RAID logs, dependencies, risks, issues, assumptions, and decisions, while tracking project progress, variances, changes, risks, and corrective actions. This role requires coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, communicating project status, and providing executive-level reporting. Additionally, the Project Manager I will support governance forums, integrated planning, and larger program initiatives, ensuring compliance with risk, regulatory, and internal control standards. The scope includes coordinating projects from initiation through close, maintaining integrated plans, milestone tracking, dependency management, and project documentation. Facilitating stakeholder communications, requirements gathering, project governance, and change management are also key aspects. The role involves identifying and escalating risks and issues requiring management attention. As a team leader, the Project Manager I will allocate work and monitor completion and quality, supporting team collaboration, efficiency, and performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of general management, project analysis, or project management experience, including 1+ year of project management experience; OR Equivalent combination of 4+ years of higher education/work experience, including 2+ years of relevant management, project analysis, or project management experience and 1+ year of project management experience.
  • Program governance, RAID/RAIDD management, executive reporting, integrated planning, milestone tracking, dependency management, and cross-functional stakeholder coordination.
  • Proficiency with personal computers and relevant software.
