The salary range for this position takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. At WGU, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their position, and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is: Grade: Professional 306 Pay Range: $62,100.00 - $93,200.00

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 5 years equivalent combination of experience and training in managing projects, resources and performing data analytics.
  • Minimum of three years of experience in working with remote teams.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Scrum Master Certification or the ability to obtain.
  • Analytical skills, experience in data mining and presenting findings in a digestible format for the intended audience.

Nice To Haves

  • CPSM, CPM, PMP, Project+, or CAPM certification preferred.
  • Understanding of higher education, WGU, and the procurement profession preferred.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of assigned projects, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closure.
  • Partner with project sponsors and team members to define objectives, requirements, timelines, budgets, and success measures.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, documentation, status reports, and project records.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, communicate updates, and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment, collaboration, and successful project delivery.
  • Support organizational transformation efforts by documenting current and future-state processes and creating implementation roadmaps.
  • Analyze project data and performance metrics to prioritize work, inform decisions, and drive continuous improvement.
