About The Position

This role demonstrates up-to-date expertise in supply chain management, applying it to the development, execution, and improvement of action plans. The Project Manager I will provide expert advice and guidance, build partnerships with key stakeholders, identify business needs, and ensure processes and practices align with business goals. They will model compliance with company policies and support the company's mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity. This position involves building relationships, identifying business needs, and adapting to organizational changes and new responsibilities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Analytics, Statistics, or related field and 1 year’s experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.
  • OR 3 years' experience in data analytics, project management, business, or related area.

Responsibilities

  • Manages pieces of the supply chain process, ensuring merchandise flow through the distribution network and fulfillment centers.
  • Orchestrates transportation needs by directing resolutions and responding to escalations of daily issues.
  • Analyzes supply chain data from multiple stakeholders to streamline and improve network efficiencies.
  • Provides data for the supplier compliance process flow.
  • Researches and analyzes root causes of daily and escalated exceptions concerning shipping, receiving, inventory, and return-related issues.
  • Conducts performance reviews of merchandising departments, distribution centers, and suppliers.
  • Improves supply chain execution by implementing business processes and improvement strategies.
  • Determines and optimizes flow path channels from supplier to store to best fit sales, in-stock, and profit metrics.
  • Collaborates with supply chain stakeholders to ensure sales, in-stock, inventory, profitability, and strategy goals are achieved.
  • Tracks the movement and arrival of goods across the supply chain.
  • Develops and presents recommendations to address conflicting goals.
  • Identifies order exceptions, disruptions, and supply chain constraints that impact execution and develops/coordinates supply chain solutions.
  • Provides field-level direction and guidance for supply chain operations execution.
  • Acts as a liaison for the field, communicating operational expectations to suppliers and transporters.
  • Addresses performance-related issues with stakeholders.
  • Contributes to the design, development, and delivery of new ways of working between supply chain stakeholders.
  • Prioritizes product flow plan objectives and ensures flow plans are achievable.
  • Manages the correction of errors, processes, and feedback loops.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve service levels.
  • Supports the use of end-to-end costing methodology and lean concepts.
  • Provides cost recommendations to reduce process waste and identify opportunities for cost reductions and process efficiencies.
  • Reviews and analyzes the impact and benefits to internal supply chain processes.
