Project Manager I - Summer (Entry Level)

Vertech is seeking a Project Manager I for a summer entry-level position. This role is responsible for the profitable and successful delivery of automation projects. The ideal candidate will be skilled in communicating project updates, managing customer expectations, budget, schedule, and scope. Requirements
- Bachelor of Science degree preferably in a technical field such as mechanical, electrical or chemical engineering or equivalent experience (2+ years)
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the profitable and successful delivery of automation projects.
- Establish and maintain plans for the success of automation projects including scope, schedule, cash-flow, budget, and client satisfaction.
- Monitor and direct the work of project team members.
- Communicate status with clients.
- Negotiate change orders with clients.
- Manage client expectations.
- Work with accounting on project financials, progress for revenue recognition and invoicing.
