Learn more at www.Crothall.com. We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager – Fire Suppression Systems to lead the execution of fire protection projects from kickoff through completion. This role ensures all systems are delivered safely, on time, and in compliance with applicable codes and standards while maintaining high quality and client satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 5+ years of project management experience in fire protection systems or related construction trades
  • Strong knowledge of NFPA codes (e.g., NFPA 13, 14, 20, 25)
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

  • NICET certification (Fire Protection Engineering Technology)
  • PMP certification (Project Management Certificate)
  • Experience with healthcare, commercial, or industrial projects
  • Familiarity with permitting and inspection processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage fire suppression system projects (sprinkler, standpipe, special hazard systems) from design through closeout
  • Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure successful delivery
  • Coordinate with design teams, field staff, subcontractors, and AHJs (Authorities Having Jurisdiction)
  • Ensure compliance with NFPA standards, local codes, and safety regulations
  • Review project drawings, submittments, and specifications for accuracy and constructability
  • Monitor installation quality and support field teams with issue resolution
  • Manage procurement of materials and equipment
  • Track project financials, including cost forecasting and change orders
  • Communicate progress and updates to clients and internal stakeholders
