About The Position

Mill Creek, LLC, specializes in the outfitting of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and technology (FFE&T), medical equipment planning, space planning, transition planning, move management, interior design, and procurement, for healthcare, government, and private sector clients across the nation. We are seeking a Project Manager for our Field Team! This is an opportunity located at our Prairie Band LLC headquarters office. The PM will lead healthcare facility outfitting or construction projects, overseeing planning, coordination, and execution. This role demands strong leadership, contract management, and field coordination skills. 50%+ travel is required for onsite installations and key project milestones. Travel expenses will be reimbursed. US Citizenship is required for this position.

Requirements

  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Access) and scheduling software (Primavera and/or MS Project).
  • Experience with Federal contracting is required.
  • Experience in and ability to utilize the 3-phase inspection program.
  • Well versed in broad based Architectural, Engineering and construction principles.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • B.S. degree in engineering, architecture or construction management or 10 years of direct experience.
  • Minimum 10 years of construction supervisory experience with at least 3 years in a project manager or superintendent position on similar projects.
  • Demonstrated experience estimating and managing self-performed work activities and subcontracted work.
  • Professional credentials – either Engineer in Training (EIT), or Associate Constructor (AC) in good standing.
  • Working knowledge of architectural, mechanical and Heavy Civil Work.
  • Current safety credentials to include OSHA 30, 1st Aid and CPR.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience managing federal or military healthcare projects under USACE, VA, or DHA oversight is preferred.
  • EIT is preferred but not a requirement.
  • Current CQC certification issued by USACE a plus.
  • General Contractor’s License a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Lead healthcare facility outfitting or construction projects, overseeing planning, coordination, and execution.
  • Manage contracts, including writing, negotiating, and managing them.
  • Read and redline drawings.
  • Utilize project management tools (Procore, ProContractor), Audaxware, Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
  • Travel 50%+ and support onsite execution when required.
  • Handle RFI processes, manage change orders, and communicate scope impacts with the government.
  • Oversee or support field safety compliance.
  • Estimate and manage self-performed work activities and subcontracted work.
  • Effectively communicate in English, both written and spoken word.
  • Ensure a high level of proficiency with spreadsheets, email and other software used in the construction industry.
  • Maintain current safety credentials including OSHA 30, 1st Aid and CPR.
