The Project Manager (PM) for Facilities leads key organization initiatives for Stanford Health Care, focusing on infrastructure upgrades, repairs, and special projects from planning through closeout. This role is critical for ensuring the safe and reliable operation of hospitals, ambulatory, and administrative spaces within a highly regulated healthcare setting. The PM partners closely with engineering, operations, and clinical stakeholders, balancing scope, schedule, and risk while prioritizing safety and continuity. Responsibilities include coordinating consultants, contractors, and internal partners through all project phases, monitoring budgets, schedules, and risks for compliant delivery. This is not a people manager role and requires experience from healthcare, facilities, engineering, or construction, with strong communication, problem-solving, and project control skills. The Facilities Services division provides essential non-clinical support 24/7, encompassing planning, construction, general services, and facilities operations. The Facilities Infrastructure & Safety (FIS) business unit, which includes Facilities Engineering – Infrastructure (FEI), is vital for maintaining the safety, security, and operational integrity of facilities, managing disaster preparedness, and ensuring timely renewal of critical assets.
