About The Position

The selected candidate will be responsible for estimating and managing earthworks projects within our Trucking Division. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for the project's full scope, working closely with the field operations team. Key duties include submitting approved bid proposals for civil earthworks projects, initiating projects, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource management (including crews, equipment, and subcontractors), and providing regular project status updates to both the team and clients. Additionally, the candidate must foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for projects
  • Develop accurate cost estimates for projects
  • Oversee the initiation of projects, ensuring all necessary steps are taken
  • Coordinate and manage crews, equipment, and subcontractors to ensure efficient project execution
  • Maintain regular communication of project status to the project team and the client
  • Foster and maintain positive relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and clients
  • Analyze and review the performance of projects and bids
  • Monitor and track daily progress and costs to ensure project efficiency
  • Ensure the efficient and effective progression of the project
  • Work closely with administrative staff to complete invoicing and collect outstanding receivables
