Performs engineering and/or project management duties related to Refined Products and Crude oil assets. This role involves engineering and/or project management activities for one or more functional areas, including pipeline system planning and analysis, storage terminal operation, pump station and terminal design, processing and/or storage facility operation, and estimating, designing, and managing construction projects. The position supports engineering and project management activities for design, procurement, construction, or optimization of company assets such as liquid pipelines, storage terminals, pump stations, and measurement systems. It also includes managing third-party contract resources and providing technical assistance on equipment/system design, pipeline sizing, control, facility design, construction, operation, and maintenance, as well as policies and procedures, and process safety. Project management support includes bid proposals, contracts, AFE preparation, cost management, Management of Change (MOC), material/equipment specifications, construction plans, schedule creation, progress reporting, and change order management. The role also involves identifying equipment efficiencies, performing hydraulic calculations, determining valve and pipeline sizing, and conducting engineering analysis. Additionally, it requires researching and preparing engineering studies, governmental regulations, pipeline and measurement system analyses, hydrocarbon processing bid proposals, construction contracts, cost estimates, and material specifications. The position supports various assets by recommending improvements for capacity, operating costs, operability, process safety, and environmental compliance, and assists with economic analysis for new projects, potential acquisitions, and the implementation of new processes.
