This role supports internal engineering organizations by maintaining accurate engineering resource capability and capacity plans using Jabil-standard planning tools. This role partners with Engineering Managers, Project Managers, and Functional Managers to enable effective demand planning, resource allocation, and execution transparency across engineering programs. This role will be considered for Hybrid work schedule.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree is required
  • 3–5 years of experience in project management, engineering operations, PMO, or planning roles is required
  • Experience supporting engineering resource or capacity planning is a must
  • Working knowledge of resource capacity planning concepts
  • Ability to quickly learn Jabil project management systems or planning workflows
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to data quality and accuracy
  • Proficient with PC-based tools and enterprise systems
  • Ability to travel as needed up to 10%

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Certificate is preferred
  • Experience using Prosymmetry Tempus Resource or similar enterprise resource planning tools is a plus
  • Equivalent education, training and experience will be considered

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and update engineering resource capability and capacity plans in approved planning tools, including Prosymmetry Tempus Resource
  • Partner with engineering and project management stakeholders to align resource plans with active projects and forecasted demand
  • Support monthly and quarterly planning cadences by validating data accuracy and identifying resource gaps or constraints
  • Track resource utilization and planning risks; prepare standard reports and summaries for leadership review
  • Apply standard project management practices to manage planning-related tasks, milestones, and deliverables
  • Support continuous improvement of planning processes, templates, and tool usage
  • Ensure all sensitive and confidential information is handled appropriately
  • Comply with all Jabil policies related to safety, quality, and information security
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
