About The Position

As Project Manager in the project management office, you will lead and manage projects that involve the design, implementation, and maintenance of electrical systems and solutions. This role requires strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as effective project management skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the satisfaction of clients. We are looking for a Shovel-Ready Project Manager with opportunities available in the New England region. You will be at the heart of our projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from start to finish. Your day will involve developing comprehensive project plans that outline the scope, objectives, deliverables, milestones, and timelines. You will allocate and coordinate resources, including engineers, technicians, equipment, and materials, to keep the project on track. You will provide technical guidance and expertise to our engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring high-quality outcomes. Establishing strong communication channels with clients will be key, as you will need to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns. Additionally, you will monitor project budgets and expenditures to ensure we stay within financial targets.

Requirements

  • Strong technical knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
  • Effective project management skills
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university
  • Previous experience in electrical engineering, project management, or a related role
  • Experience with utilities, specifically the development of transmission asset capital projects
  • 5 years experience or greater
