Accomplishes project objectives by planning and evaluating project activities. A project manager is fully responsible for all projects assigned. The ideal candidate will ensure that the project continues to move forward under budget and on schedule. Most of the time spent being a project manager is communicating all participants in the project ensuring that everyone is on the same page. They anticipate problems before they occur and find ways to accomplish project goals regardless of changing circumstances. A project manager does all this and is expected have a high level of experience and abilities along these lines: Accomplishes human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures. This person will work with direct reports to meet the goals and is responsible for their development. Achieves operational objectives by contributing information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving problems; completing audits; identifying trends; determining system improvements; implementing change.
