About The Position

Brainlab is seeking a Project Manager for Digital OR (Audio/Video solutions) and Intraoperative Imaging projects with a focus on the EMEA region. The role involves driving all project phases from purchase order to end-user training, ensuring projects are completed within the agreed timeline. This includes technical clarifications, site preparation, delivery, installation, and training. The Project Manager will also support the Sales team with technical assistance, quote reviews, and site-specific layout designs. Key responsibilities include drafting technical schemes, creating spatial drawings, managing relationships with various project stakeholders (biomedical engineers, surgeons, IT technicians, architects, etc.), and coordinating internally with various Brainlab departments. The role also involves feasibility studies for new OR areas and developing OR design concepts with integrated Brainlab solutions. The Project Manager will be the primary point of contact for external partners, demonstrating project ownership and working closely with customers and third-party vendors.

Requirements

  • Academic degree in engineering, construction or IT, or project management certification.
  • Minimum 2 Years Experiences in projects within the medical business (incl. project management).
  • Technical understanding combined with interpersonal and administrational capabilities.
  • Willingness to travel internationally up to 20%.
  • Profound English skills (additional languages like German, Spanish, French are a big bonus).

Responsibilities

  • Drive all projects phases from PO, technical clarifications, site preparation, shipment/delivery, installation, release for clinical use and end-users training within agreed timeline.
  • Assist our Sales team by providing technical support, by reviewing quotes and sketching site specific layouts.
  • Draft preliminary technical scheme (video routine diagrams, Video signal transfer customization).
  • Create detailed spatial drawings integrating sites specifics constraints, standards, procedures and workflows.
  • Build truthful and professional relationship with all the project’s actors onsite: biomedical engineers, surgeons, nurses, radioprotection representatives, but also Hospital planners and architects, contractors, third party suppliers, electricians, IT technicians and purchasing agents.
  • Manage internal coordination with our order processing, production planning, export, installation specialists, support and educational teams.
  • Feasibility studies for new Operating Rooms areas in hospitals.
  • Development of OR design concepts with Brainlab solutions integrated.
  • Project management: project planning, project coordination, resource planning, in- and external stakeholder management, demonstrate project ownership, Brainlab face to external partners.
  • Close cooperation with customers (surgeons, anesthetists, hospital administration…) and 3rd party vendors.
  • Project Documentation.
