About The Position

Green Infrastructure Partners Inc. is seeking a Project Manager, Demolition to oversee large-scale demolition and heavy civil projects. Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will play a key role in delivering complex infrastructure projects on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards. The work we do impacts lives. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Demolition or Heavy Civil related experience
  • Proven success managing infrastructure projects valued at $50M+.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Expertise in contracts, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Advanced knowledge of health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Ability to work in an office environment and on site - frequent travel to work sites.
  • Results driven, able to build strong internal and external partnerships
  • Excellent written, verbal, listen and presentation skills
  • Competent in problem solving, team building, planning and decision making

Responsibilities

  • Lead full project lifecycle, from planning and design through execution and close out.
  • Develop and manage detailed project schedules, tracking milestones and adjusting timelines to meet client and contractual requirements.
  • Oversee budgets and financial accountability, including monthly forecasting, accruals, and cost control.
  • Prepare and negotiate contracts, manage change orders, and ensure scope adjustments are documented and approved.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary teams — engineers, field operations, estimators, subcontractors, and administration — to deliver seamless execution.
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and quality standards, including LEED documentation.
  • Identify and mitigate risks proactively to keep projects on track.
  • Chair regular meetings with clients, stakeholders, and senior leadership to provide transparent updates.
  • Mentor and direct project staff, reviewing work to ensure accuracy and excellence.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation and distribute active project lists to the team.
  • Drive innovation and sustainability, incorporating recycled materials and energy efficient practices into project delivery.
  • Represent GIP externally, building strong client relationships and reinforcing our reputation for integrity and quality.
