Project Manager, Creative Services
About The Position
The Project Manager for Creative Services oversees creative projects from kickoff through delivery, ensuring that each output reflects and strengthens Alliance Defending Freedom’s visual brand. The role manages project intake, task assignments, timelines, status updates, and project information, while helping assess team bandwidth and capacity for new work. It facilitates communication among creative leads, stakeholders, internal team members, freelancers, and third-party vendors, and supports resource allocation, optimization, and operational excellence. The position reports to the Senior Director of Communications Operations and is based in Scottsdale, Arizona.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of project management experience.
- Experience working with creative teams and workflows.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to be assertive with timelines and deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a creative design-related field.
- Project Management Professional certificate.
Responsibilities
- Gather project information and provide status updates to the broader team and stakeholders.
- Manage multiple creative projects simultaneously and help determine bandwidth for new projects.
- Work with creative leads, stakeholders, and third-party vendors to ensure project vision and overall direction are met.
- Handle intake for new project requests, maintain process workflows, and optimize procedures to support efficient project completion.
- Enter and maintain accurate, up-to-date project information in the project management tool.
- Act as a liaison between stakeholders throughout the completion of creative projects.
- Participate in weekly meetings to provide real-time updates and discuss ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Maintain a calendar of project timelines and work with Creative Services leadership and stakeholders to determine priorities when deadline conflicts arise.
