The Project Manager will be responsible for leading the planning and implementation of SHN’s redevelopment projects across the hospital network. The incumbent will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as managing external consultants, architects, engineers and contractors. The Project Manager will lead several capital redevelopment projects and oversee consultant and contractor procurement, business cases, design briefs, feasibility studies, contract drawings and specifications. The Project Manager will be responsible for preparing and managing the project budget and schedule, and providing project status updates to hospital leadership. The successful candidate will have outstanding written and oral communication skills, be an active listener, and have an ability to engage and manage multi-disciplinary stakeholders. The successful candidate will ideally be focused on professional growth and continuing education, and have a desire to effect positive change in healthcare facilities. The Project Manager must work collaboratively within a small team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. The incumbent is expected to contribute to creating a safe and healthy environment for patients, staff and others, working in compliance with the hospital code of conduct and the provisions of health and safety policies and legislation, utilizes protective equipment provided and identifies and reports hazards.
