About The Position

ServiceMaster CDR is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for helping communities rebuild. The ideal candidate will have strong Xactimate skills and a commitment to accuracy and quality. ServiceMaster CDR is a premier, full-service Disaster Restoration company providing top-tier services across Northeast Ohio, specializing in water/mold mitigation, fire/smoke/odor damage, storm damage, contents cleaning, biohazard cleanup, emergency board-up, and full-scale reconstruction.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in Project Management and writing reconstruction estimates in Xactimate (required)
  • Familiarity with construction methods, materials, and restoration processes
  • A strong understanding of insurance programs and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • The ability to work independently and manage multiple estimates at once
  • Proficiency with smartphones, tablets, and job management software
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, stand/walk for extended periods, and work in varying environmental conditions

Responsibilities

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate construction project activities to meet deadlines
  • Prepare and submit budget estimates, progress reports, or cost tracking reports
  • Direct and supervise construction or related workers
  • Prepare contracts or negotiate revisions to contractual agreements with architects, consultants, clients, suppliers, or subcontractors
  • Conducting on-site inspections to assess damages and repair needs
  • Preparing detailed Xactimate estimates in accordance with program guidelines, building codes, and IICRC standards
  • Capturing and documenting clear job site photos and uploading necessary data into our 365 system
  • Communicating with insurance adjusters, clients, and internal team members to ensure estimate accuracy and timely approvals
  • Reviewing and submitting supplements or change orders as needed
  • Supporting the transition of projects from estimation to production, working collaboratively with the project management team
