About The Position

Project Manager Equipment is responsible for coordinating details related to equipment planning and installation of capital equipment to meet critical deadlines and accountabilities on major large scale capital projects, as well as facilitating replacement capital. This position will work as a critical support role to end-user capital decisions and FF&E project coordination of construction projects. Responsibilities also include: managing strategic supplier relationships with regard to Capital Equipment sourcing, negotiation and administration of agreements for the Capital Sourcing contracts related to FF&E requirements, needs and vendor management; managing and implementing capital initiatives and strategies; managing contracts, and standardization and initiative opportunities; managing "upward" toward enterprise-wide capital strategies; coordinating and facilitating resource sharing and consensus building processes and programs in collaboration with executive, administrative, with both clinical and non-clinical staff. Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or Construction Management. Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 5 years Supply Chain Management, construction management, project management and/or equipment planning; preferably in a health system.

  • Project Management Institute Certification - PMP, CAPM, or other upon hire
