This is a hardware/equipment and space-design role. IT project management or Agile/Scrum certifications are not applicable. The Project Manager will manage, coordinate, and implement all aspects of a Project or order, including administrative requirements and documentation. This role involves coordinating internal resources (sales, interior design) and acting as the primary point of contact for projects and orders, aiming to maintain or increase profit objectives. The Project Manager will manage internal and external resources, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Responsibilities include managing 'turnkey projects' from quoting and sales orders to coordinating logistics and installation, negotiating with vendors, issuing purchase orders, and approving vendor payments. The role also involves preparing customer quotes, issuing Sales Order Acknowledgements, managing production and shipping schedules, resolving supplier/vendor issues, and negotiating credits for quality or delivery problems. Regular communication with suppliers/vendors and territory managers is expected to resolve problems and provide customer updates. The Project Manager will research customer concerns, take appropriate action to negotiate resolutions, and gather necessary information to oversee customer needs and project implementation. Coordination of internal departments (Marketing/Product Management, Engineering, Quality, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Interior Design, Customer Service) and external resources is crucial for successful project completion. The role includes acting as a point person during client showroom visits, conducting product presentations/demonstrations, and documenting product selections. Initial screening of new opportunities and projects presented by sales personnel or distribution partners is also a responsibility. The Project Manager will act as a liaison between the Interior Design team and the territory manager, coordinate all aspects of showroom visits (transportation, accommodation, logistical support, client entertainment), and demonstrate knowledge of GF products (clinical beds, resident room furniture, upholstery, etc.). The role involves educating key decision-makers on products, services, and programs to increase business and expand sales, identifying problems and developing practical solutions with minimal supervision, and resolving customer concerns effectively. Maximizing profitability by product and project is a key objective.
