About The Position

As the Capital Acquisition Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Pratt & Whitney's manufacturing operations. In this role, you will collaborate with worldwide suppliers to identify and implement the most optimal manufacturing solutions for our facilities. You will manage the full cycle of the project from market analysis and selection of equipment to delivery, installation and readiness for integration into production. The position is full-time, with flexible hours in Longueuil, and is exclusively on-site.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of engineering
  • 5 years or more of experience in project management.
  • Experience in a manufacturing company.
  • Demonstrated strategic planning and leadership skills.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in a large-scale project management environment with technology development.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Willingness for international travel occasionally
  • Autonomous and creative
  • Knowledge and skills of the computer tools related to the task: Microsoft Office, Visio and MS-Project.
  • This position is part of a French-speaking work environment, yet it requires a very good knowledge of English to read and understand, on a daily basis, documentation and technical terms that may emanate from international organizations, as well as to write and communicate in English with customers, suppliers or international colleagues.
