About The Position

The A220 commercial aircraft program is seeking a Project Manager – Business Management System to join our team based in Mirabel (Quebec, Canada), where you will work on the compliance and performance of our supply chain. You will be part of the Procurement Quality team, responsible for ensuring the compliance and excellence of supplier-related processes. The team structure promotes cross-functional collaboration and autonomy, while fostering mutual support and collective learning. Your role within Business Management System & Expertise (Procurement Quality) will be to secure document compliance and the performance of procurement processes within the Airbus Canada ecosystem. You will drive adherence to quality standards, identify governance gaps with our partners, and ensure the rigorous maintenance of regulatory and contractual compliance.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in quality, or in engineering within a field related to the manufacturing industry (aerospace, mechanics, engineering, project management, etc.)
  • Experience in the aerospace industry and with quality management systems
  • Experience working with suppliers
  • Good level of knowledge of SAP software
  • Experience in project management (principles and tools)
  • Demonstrate leadership, autonomy, flexibility, integrity, objectivity, confidentiality, and ethics
  • Adopt a proactive and results-oriented mindset, with the ability to go beyond identifying failures to position yourself as a solutions facilitator
  • Basic knowledge of AS 9100 and ISO 9001 standards
  • Bilingual (French and English), both spoken and written
  • Practical proficiency in Google Suite and Microsoft Office
  • Good knowledge of Airbus tools and processes

Responsibilities

  • Manage, update, and ensure strict compliance with a large volume of Quality Management System documents
  • Ensure constant vigilance when reviewing all external documents against export control requirements
  • Analyze data discrepancies monthly, identify anomalies, and enforce governance among stakeholders
  • Evaluate the effectiveness and risks associated with procurement processes through Procurement Quality audits, sampling checks, and the production of quarterly performance and opportunity reports for management
  • Ensure contractual alignment and the quality of subcontractor deliverables through annual reviews, participation in support committees, and authorization of delivery receipt reports
  • Centralize and efficiently process the flow of information from multiple systems and tools (iSupply, NormMaster, generic email inbox)
  • Address unprecedented issues impacting multiple processes, covering several functions, or requiring advanced expertise in one of them
  • Determine the medium and long-term directions of the Business Management System across divisions, optimizing resources and validating through results
  • Significantly impact the short and medium-term performance of a process, a domain, a family of requirements, or a function
