About The Position

Sandvik is looking for a proactive and solutions-focused Project Manager to lead new product development, module, and system development projects from planning through execution and closure. In this role, you will manage complex projects using Sandvik’s project model and established project management practices. You will partner with stakeholders across Load and Haul functions and other divisions, lead project teams through clear communication, manage scope and change, mitigate risks, and ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and aligned with quality, safety, and business expectations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required; degree in Technology, Engineering, Commercial, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in product development or engineering.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and lead cross-functional teams in a global environment.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related needs, typically planned in advance.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of MS Project, PPM Micro Focus, or other project management software is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project proposals and develop project plans, including work breakdown structure, resource planning, scheduling, and budgeting.
  • Execute projects according to Sandvik’s project model and appropriate project management methods.
  • Lead project teams with active, clear, and effective communication.
  • Manage project scope, change requests, dependencies, risks, lessons learned, handover, and closure.
  • Monitor and report project cost, schedule, engineering progress, procurement, prototype manufacturing, and testing.
  • Coordinate product cost targets and support improvements to project management and control processes.
  • Follow organizational instructions and practices while maintaining high quality standards.
  • Promote occupational safety, general cleanliness, and a strong EHS culture.
