This role manages project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and client expectations; coordinates multidisciplinary teams; develops strong client and agency relationships; and supports the growth and development of team members. The Project Manager is accountable for responsive, high-quality project execution and financial stewardship and demonstrates leadership consistent with Pape-Dawson's Excellence in Action Leadership Principles. The role involves the planning and design of airfield improvements, including runways, taxiways, aprons, grading and drainage, airfield lighting and signage, and NAVAIDs coordination. It also includes overseeing the preparation of aviation plans, specifications, estimates, technical reports, and design calculations in accordance with applicable FAA standards and advisory circulars. Directing airfield geometry, pavement, stormwater, utility coordination, and related technical design activities, as well as guiding construction phasing and safety planning for operating airports and supporting bid- and construction-phase services are key aspects. Coordination with airport sponsors, FAA representatives, and other aviation stakeholders to obtain approvals and address review comments is also essential.
