About The Position

Foster CM Group is seeking an Aviation Project Manager to support aviation construction projects in the Orlando area. This role assists senior project management staff with the coordination, administration, and monitoring of airport construction projects to help ensure work is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with design specifications and airport operational requirements. The Aviation Project Manager works closely with project managers, contractors, consultants, and airport stakeholders to support the successful delivery of aviation infrastructure projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
  • 10–15 years of construction experience supporting aviation (interior construction), transportation, or large vertical infrastructure projects.
  • Working knowledge of construction documents, contract administration, and construction coordination.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software.
  • Ability to obtain airport security clearance.
  • Ability to visit active construction sites and work in outdoor construction environments.
  • Possession of a valid state of residence driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Support Project Managers with the coordination and administration of aviation construction projects.
  • Review construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents to support project oversight and contract administration.
  • Participate in project meetings and coordinate communication among contractors, consultants, and airport stakeholders.
  • Monitor project schedules and milestones, identifying potential risks and assisting with resolution.
  • Assist with construction coordination, field issue resolution, and constructability reviews.
  • Track project progress and support reporting to ensure projects remain within scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Assist with change order reviews, pay applications, and other project documentation.
  • Maintain project records, meeting minutes, and status reports.
