About The Position

We are seeking a trustworthy, hungry to learn and grow, hands-on Project Manager with a technical inclination and curiosity for how things work. The ideal candidate has experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV, knowledge of the built environment, and experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final). A steady work history (3 years between hops), a pleasant disposition, and high EQ are essential. This is a full-time position (40 hours/week) with a schedule of Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm. Projects are located in the surrounding area of our Scottsdale, AZ office.

Requirements

Experience on construction sites as a Project Manager in AV/LV.
Knowledge of the built environment.
Experience with all three phases of implementation (Rough/Trim/Final).
A steady work history (3 years between hops).
High EQ.

Responsibilities

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, in-house staff, other trades, GC, and architects.
Receive complete proposals and scope of work; understand, deliver, and troubleshoot as needed.
Help create engineering documents for new construction projects.
Plan and schedule projects proactively, aligning with available resources.
Manage project profitability by keeping actual hours at or below budgeted hours, and removing redundancy and errors.
Issue work orders to the team and coordinate with third parties.
Ensure all work meets the scope of work, plans, company standards, and client expectations.
Read, interpret, manifest, mark-up, and distribute plan sets/blueprints to the team.
Create, submit, get approval for, confirm payment, and execute change orders.
Work on construction sites with situational awareness.
