The Project Manager Assistant will manage scope, schedule, and budget for client transportation projects including roadway design, traffic signals, transportation planning, and environmental work. This role involves managing the preparation of engineering reports, plans, and specifications, overseeing the preparation and review of preliminary and final plans, technical specifications, contract documents, and estimates, and recommending changes as necessary. The assistant will also participate in contract bidding and administration, supervise and guide design projects through client processes, coordinate with various officials and agencies, and communicate with project teams, clients, review agencies, and other stakeholders. They will address complex issues by involving subject matter experts and client management, meet program and client goals, and attend training to stay current on requirements.
