About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Project Manager to join their Asset Assurance Team. This role involves overseeing a team of technical inspectors who deliver technical inspections for a large portfolio of retail and warehouse facilities. The project program focuses on conducting and managing annual asset inspections at major national retail stores to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations. Key responsibilities include inspections, documenting findings, preparing comprehensive reports, and collaborating with store managers and regional manager teams to address deficiencies. The Project Manager will also be responsible for training, scheduling, quality control management, staff development, performance control/reporting, and client liaison.

Requirements

Previous experience in facility or technical inspections.
Previous experience in team leadership.
Strong knowledge of safety standards.
Excellent observational skills.
Valid driver's license.
Previous experience leading regional or national teams.
Previous experience and advanced knowledge as a Facility Inspector or a related role.
Good working knowledge of retail safety standards and regulations.
Excellent observational and analytical skills to identify potential hazards and deficiencies.
Ability to work independently and efficiently manage travel schedules and inspection priorities.
Proficiency in using digital tools and technologies for inspections and reporting.
Willingness to travel extensively and regularly, including in-state and out-of-state.
Possession of a valid driver's license.

Nice To Haves

Expertise in facility condition assessment areas such as structural, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and building systems is a plus.

Responsibilities

Oversee a team of technical inspectors delivering technical inspections for a large portfolio of retail and warehouse facilities.
Conduct and manage annual asset inspections at major national retail stores to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
Document findings from inspections.
Prepare comprehensive reports outlining any identified issues, compliance status, and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with store managers and regional manager teams to address deficiencies.
Train and manage inspection teams.

Manage quality control processes.
Oversee staff development.
Manage performance and reporting.
Act as a client liaison.
Liaise with client counterparts to ensure a firm understanding of evolving client expectations.
Coordinate efficient scheduling for inspection deliverables.
Supervise the preparation of comprehensive reports.
Identify key information sources and collect relevant data to support project delivery.
Analyze data to uncover insights that will inform the design/delivery of consulting solutions and development of future sales proposals.
Present outcomes and analysis at team meetings.
Ensure economic delivery of services in accordance with approved project financials.
Keep up to date with relevant safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices related to inspections.
Utilize digital tools and technologies to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of inspections and reporting processes.
Develop understanding of services delivered by Arcadis and client businesses.
Act independently to guide and drive team performance improvement and client relationship development.
Exercise independent judgment on significant project-related matters.
Provide lead input into team hiring decisions.
