About The Position

Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group (MUFG) is seeking a Project Manager/Analyst to support project delivery within the Corporate Finance & Strategy Office (CFSO). This role will focus on areas such as Third‑Party Risk Management, Strategic Sourcing, Contracts, Accounts Payable, and Corporate Workspace Solutions. The selected colleague will act as a project management generalist, supporting multiple initiatives simultaneously and collaborating closely with business stakeholders to drive execution. The analyst will perform core project management activities, bringing structure, coordination, and momentum to projects in a dynamic environment. The role involves working at an MUFG office or client sites four days per week and remotely one day.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, project management, business analysis, operations, or PMO‑related roles
  • Experience supporting projects in procurement, sourcing, third‑party risk, contracts, accounts payable, or shared services environments preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and organize work across multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and time‑management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to manage task lists, timelines, and follow‑ups across multiple workstreams
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity and helping bring structure to evolving work
  • Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities
  • Collaborative, team‑oriented mindset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, ALM) is a plus
  • Exposure to procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Fieldglass) is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support end‑to‑end execution of CFSO projects, including planning, tracking, and delivery across multiple concurrent initiatives
  • Develop and maintain project documentation such as project plans, timelines, status reports, action logs, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate project meetings, working sessions, and stakeholder communications
  • Track and escalate project risks, issues, dependencies, and decisions to leadership as appropriate
  • Support project intake, sequencing, and prioritization activities within the CFSO portfolio
  • Assist with documenting current‑state and future‑state processes to support operational improvements
  • Ensure adherence to PMO standards, governance, and documentation requirements
  • Support testing, implementation, and go‑live activities related to procurement initiatives
