About The Position

The Project Manager will be a Trial Court employee within the Administrative Office of the Probate and Family Court and will work full-time for the Office of Adult Guardianship and Conservatorship Oversight (OAGCO). The Project Manager works closely with the Assistant Deputy Court Administrator, other Trial Court Departments, and external stakeholders and organizations regarding duties and activities regarding assigned duties with the OAGCO project scope.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and (5) Five years of professional court related experience, preferably with the Probate & Family Court; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience working with the court and justice-system partners
  • Demonstrated expertise in project development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Ability to organize, direct and coordinate administrative and program activities
  • Strong degree of flexibility and ability to manage multiple projects and complex situations
  • Ability to produce professional proposals, and reports
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with court officials, judges, employees and government agency employees
  • Demonstrated ability to identify problems and to develop feasible solutions

Nice To Haves

  • a graduate degree in public health, public administration, or law related is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the ongoing planning, implementation, and management of the project
  • Works closely with the Assistant Deputy Court Administrator, other Trial Court Departments, and external stakeholders and organizations regarding duties and activities
  • Monitors project goals and prepares reports for the Chief Justice of the Probate and Family Court and the Deputy Court Administrator
  • Manages employees regarding assigned duties with the OAGCO project scope
  • Oversees data collection and reporting
  • Maintains communication with all stakeholders
  • Oversees and monitors the performance of external service providers
  • Develops and implements innovations to address issues with current OAGCO policies
  • Works directly with Registers, Judges and court staff on any new implementations within OAGCO and new project updates
  • May be asked to visit court divisions in person to train staff
  • Measures and tracks changes to the guardianship system developed through the OAGCO
  • Performs other duties as required
