Sodexo Energy and Resource is seeking a Construction/Project Manager 2 to support a large, national energy account in El Segundo, California. This position will exclusively support projects and project managers in our national portfolio of work for a single client. Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Construction/Project Management experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a supervisory capacity within construction.
  • Strong Personal Computer working capabilities in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Adobe Writer, Visio, and basic Windows environment).
  • OSHA 30 certification (or the ability to gain certification within 120 days of hire).
  • Ability to embrace ambiguity and work effectively in environments with undefined processes.

Nice To Haves

  • A Master's degree is highly desirable
  • Experience within new construction, renovations, MEP infrastructure, and working in critical environments
  • Proficiency in MS project, Procore and Bluebeam

Responsibilities

  • Develop project schedules and execute according to plan for assigned projects.
  • Evaluate the contractual scope of work and the impact of client issued bulletins, field directives and/or scheduling changes.
  • Actively pursue additional work through change orders.
  • Perform associated cost estimates, prepare proposals, and negotiate final settlement price and customer acceptance.
  • Effectively communicate project progress, issues, and financial status to management as required.
  • Develop and maintain viable long-term relationships with consultants, prime contractors, and subcontractors.
  • Attend and lead job progress meetings as required.
