As a Project Manager 1 Peer Review, this position will apply project management expertise to all aspects of managing assigned Peer Review Community of Practice projects including planning, organizing, budgeting, cost control, time schedules, quality assurance, sponsor communications, and staff coordination. The project manager is responsible for ensuring all department and Oak Ridge Associated Universities (ORAU) procedures, policies, and regulations are met and maintained within the project. Additionally, the project manager actively manages program development activities for assigned projects. This position participates with other managers and other ORAU staff in planning and developing activities for the department and the broader ORAU organization. The project manager will be responsible for coordinating a wide range of virtual, in-person, and/or hybrid peer review and scientific meeting activities – postal reviews, panel reviews, workshops, advisory committees, and principal investigator meetings for multiple customers and will serve as point of contact for at least one major customer office.
