About The Position

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Associate or Experienced Project Management Specialist to support the change incorporation plans related to the 767 and 777 Airplane Programs in Everett, Washington on First Shift! This role involves supporting program initiatives for compliance and visibility of change-related activities, performing project management tasks to ensure project completion, and creating project visibility artifacts for Program Leadership. The specialist will also engage with cross-functional stakeholders, manage change approval processes, requirements, and thresholds, and produce metrics for plans and schedules for moderately complex projects, programs, and change activities throughout a program's lifecycle. Additionally, the role includes performing studies, analysis, and planning efforts within and across programs/projects.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects
  • 1+ years of experience working with databases, data collection and preparation, and data interpretation
  • 1+ years of experience performing in a finance, scheduling, industrial engineering, change management, strategy, business support services, program management, project management or business operations role.
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of experience in managing project schedules and managing programs and projects
  • Experience using Integrated Scheduling tools
  • 3+ years of experience with program oversight, project management tools & metrics reporting
  • Experience working on airplane programs or supporting the production system
  • Familiarity with sustainability concepts
  • Experience in using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • Project Management Certificate or Training
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

Responsibilities
